A little bit about me...

Hello, my name is Melissa Camelon and I am a wife and mother of two wonderful girls born in 2001 (Alexis) and 2004 (Cadence).

I did my training and certification through Doulas of North America in the fall of 2005. The first birth I attended in 1992 was what first sparked my interest in the labour and birth process. Since the birth of my own two children I have become passionate more then ever to empower women to have the birth they want. Having a midwife with my second child I became inspired to first become a doula, and in the future a midwife. Other than being a mom, I can't think of a better job to have!
